Appointments
All consultations are by appointment. Please make appointments in person, online, or by telephone during surgery hours.
As of 1st October 2019 we are making some changes to our appointment system. We will be introducing a number of Book On The Day Appointments. These appointments will be released and available to book from 8am each morning. Appointments will be available to book in the surgery at the desk, over the telephone or online.
If you are not already signed up for Patient Access please speak to a member of our reception team who will be happy to advise on this process.
If more than one member of the family is to be seen, please book separate appointments.
We are not part of the emergency services. If we judge that your problem is an emergency we will advise you to attend the A & E Dept or contact another more appropriate service.
Telephone Consultations
As of 1st October 2019 we now offer pre-bookable telephone consultations with GP's. Telephone consultations can be booked for queries that do not require a face to face consultation. Examples of a telephone consultation would be to discuss results, medication queries or to discuss extensions to fit notes (where you have previously consulted with a GP).
Cancellations
Please notify the receptionist if you cannot keep an appointment - We request as much notice is given as possible in order for us to allocate that appointment to another patient.
We write to every patient who fails to attend & doesn’t cancel an appointment. It is practice policy to regularly review failed to attend appointments. This may even result in you being removed from our practice list.
